I especially enjoy presenting to the very youngest of students, and have prepared a school program for grades K-1. We will talk about how a book illustrator does his job; we look at sketches, book dummies, and finished art. My slide presentation includes several complete stories of both BISCUIT and JACK as well as pictures of my studio, my models, and my art supplies. I conclude with sketching, and answer any questions the students may have.
In the course of a school day, I can make up to four 45-minute presentations.
